Notes for NATHANIEL MORTON FISHER: Nathan remained in Owen County, Kentucky with his family until 1880 when they moved to Missouri. After four years there, he moved his family to Pratt County, Kansas which would be about 1884). He lived in Section 31 in Elm Township, Pratt County, on a farm of 160 acres. He is one of the intelligent and prominent citizens of his township and takes an active interest in the affairs of Pratt County. The place of his birth was Grant County, KY. His father, Amos Fisher, was the original American ancestor, both he and his wife having been natives of England. They immigrated to America after their marriage. Son, Daniel married Susan Gregg, daughter of James Gregg, who was a native of Fayette County, KY. Daniel Fisher died at an early age of 47 years in Grant County, KY. During his lifetime he followed the business of merchandising. They were Baptist in faith.
My mother, Ruth Kelley, remembers her great grandparents, Nathan and Mary Fisher who lived south east of Coats, KS. Ruth went to school one year before Grandpa Fisher died. Grandma Fisher lived longer. She fell and broke her hip. Both are buried at Coats cemetery.
5. THEODORICK FISHER (HULDAH ARMS, WILLIAM, WILLIAM) was born August 20, 1802 in Newport, NH, and died May 28, 1873 in Augusta, IL. He married JUDITH TOMPKINS August 29, 1826.
