Information on Henry Zongker is not complete and may not be in order, but it is the best that I have. I will welcome hearing from any one that can add to this. Henry settled in the Peace Creek area of Reno County. When Henry moved to Kansas, besides his family, he brought nephews Peter Zongker, ? Myers (father of Clayton), & ? Monger (father of Lawrence). All stayed in the general area around Turon. The 1860 census for Noble County Indiana, Perry Township. P.O. Ligonier, taken June 1, 1860, page 95 line 11-15. Henry Zongker 34m day labor b. PA. The 1900 census for Reno County, KS showed Henry as a farmer living in Grove Township. This is recorded on film roll #496, page 88A (0956). Henry brought his entire family plus several nieces and nephews when he moved to Kansas. More information should be available on the 1870 census if I can locate it. All 1890 census files along with some 1880 ,files were destroyed by fire several years back. While visiting the Neola Cemetary July 27, 1994, I found inscribed on Henry's stone the following.
